Good Coffee

At Buena Vida, we are dedicated to buying and selling perfectly roasted coffee. Our specialty coffee is a particular kind of bean that is grown responsibly and directly supports fair trade farming. Only 8 to 10 percent of all coffee is considered specialty coffee, and here at Buena Vida, we guarantee our customers the very best. Our coffee is imported from Hoya Grande and La Paz, Honduras, Mexico, El Salvador, Nicaragua and Guatemala. From there, it is brought to a local Milwaukee coffee roaster, Stone Creek Coffee, and is processed, packaged and shipped to your door.

All of our Honduran coffee comes from the COMSA co-op, located in La Paz Honduras. COMSA was founded in 2001 by 62 farmers and now supports 242 members – 56 of which are women. They received their organic certification in 2001 and fair trade certification in 2006. In addition to maintaining 42 farms, COMSA provides education to 93 students, and scholarships and continuing education funds to cooperative members.
